Hello!
So... I stumbled onto the studygram community earlier this year. I felt a calling and was attracted to the idea of owning a studygram. Posts from people such as @emmastudies was very inspiring to me and I finally got around to creating my studygram, under the username @crystalstudies_ in early June.
I've been on the studygram community (on instagram) for a while now and here are some advantages I've gained from joining the studygram community!
1. It is inspiring
That is for sure. Seeing others work hard, achieve things and actually studying, does inspire me to work harder. Moreover, having a studygram, can help yuou improve your grades. You study to get posts to post onto instagram. This in turn motivates you to do your work and will, eventually, improve your grades.
2. You can make new friends
Over the past few months, I've met people of different cultures, of different curriculums, and many other factors included. I for one, take the ibdp (international baccalaureate diploma programme) and I have met some who take the GCSE A level, GCSE O level, IGCSE and many more.
3. Learn from others and help others learn!
This is a great opportunity for you to learn from others! Some of the friends I've met on the small, tiny studygram community have formed different types of group chats. I have joined the one on kakao talk as well as the one on instagram. We exchange study tips, resources and which stationery we prefer. (we gush over stationery a lot too)
4. You can document your academic journey!
By posting your things online onto instagram for others to share, you can not only look back and remember what you've done over the years, you can also use your studygram as an online study diary. I've documented some of what we do as ibdp students in my school, so can you!
5. Its really easy to upkeep your account!
Honestly, it doesn't take much to keep your account updated. Like I've said in the first reason why I love the studygram community, you study, to have something to post onto your account! Not only that, all it takes for you to start up your studygram is just a notebook, or some flashcards (whichever your prefer) and some pens of your choice!
Remember: you do not require to have those crazy cool pens/notebooks! All you need is: studying!
All in all, I really really really love the studygram community! It helps me feel motivated to study and I can find friends who can relate to me!
Let me know down in the comments section if you have a studygram, new to studygram or planning to start a studygram! I'm always down for a chat!
Stay tuned for more posts!
